Meet Our Pastor
Rev. Carrie Kramer Jones, a native of Sylacauga, has served as our pastor since June 2010. She brings to Southside a deep passion for teaching others to love the scriptures as much as she does and for sharing the love of Christ through service and giving to those in need.
Carrie has pastored churches in the North Alabama Conference of the United Methodist Church since 2007, and was ordained as an Elder in 2011. Her ministry experiences also include serving as a Youth Pastor, a Worship Leader, and a Mission Intern. In 2003, Carrie received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History with a minor in Mathematics from Birmingham Southern College, and in 2006, she received her Mastor of Divinity degree from Candler School of Theology at Emory University in Atlanta, GA.
Carrie is married to Tiger Jones, a native of Dothan, and they welcomed their new son, Zackery, in October 2015. Carrie, Tiger & Zackery live in Southside with their dogs - Buckwheat, and Cooper.
